The Future of Las Vegas Medical District

Last week, City of Las Vegas and Downtown Vegas Alliance co-hosted a presentation about the 674-acre Las Vegas Medical District (LVMD) and upcoming projects.

Governor Steve Sisolak and Councilman Brian Knudsen kicked off the presentation by emphasizing the importance of having good healthcare in Las Vegas and the vision of the Las Vegas Medical District. City of Las Vegas staffs and panel guest speakers talked about the Downtown Master Plan, planning and zoning, healthcare, and economic development.

The Henderson Chamber of Commerce (HCC) hosted its 2022 State of the Chamber luncheon on August 26th at M Resort. The event brought the business community together, reflected the accomplishments and challenges of the past year, and addressed the vision and opportunities of the business community moving forward. Over 700 attendees celebrated another successful year of the chamber.

Nevada Donor Network Hosted 2022 Inspire Gala in Downtown Arts District

Nevada Donor Network (NDN) and the Molasky Family hosted the 2022 Inspire Gala on August 27th in the Downtown Arts District. The annual Inspire Gala helps the nonprofit to raise awareness for organ, eye and tissue donation and raises funds for expanding transplantation capabilities in Nevada. NDN President and CEO Joseph Ferriera and NDN Foundation President Steven Peralta welcomed guests and spoke about the nonprofit's mission, accomplishment, and vision.

Special guests included Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak, Former U.S. Representative Shelley Berkley, City of Las Vegas Councilman Brian Knudsen, Nevada Mining Association President and CEO Tyre Gray, Vegas Golden Knights President and CEO Kerry Bubolz, and more.
