A new ball hockey rink opened in Lorenzi Park this week. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was hosted by Las Vegas City Councilman Cedric Crear, Vegas Golden Knights (VGK) President Kerry Bubolz, and National Hockey League (NHL) Senior Vice President Rob Knesaurek.

This project was funded by a donation from the VGK Foundation, with support from the NHL, to The Mayor’s Fund for Las Vegas LIFE.

“Ward 5 is thrilled to have this new rink at Lorenzi Park, and to continue our partnership with the Vegas Golden Knights” said Las Vegas City Councilman Cedric Crear. “There is no denying that our city loves hockey, and we are confident this new rink will be a big hit. On behalf of those I serve, I would like to thank VGK and the NHL for all do they do in our community to improve quality of life by making hockey accessible to everyone.”
