The Little Vegas Chapel, a wedding chapel located within downtown Las Vegas Arts District, celebrated the expansion and grand opening of its new ceremony venue, the Imperial Chapel, during Pride Month.

City of Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman officiated her first-ever celebrity LGBTQ ceremony – a commitment ceremony between iconic Las Vegas entertainer, Frank Marino (star of La Cage, Divas Las Vegas and Legends in Concert), and his partner, Las Vegas Entertainment Taskmaster Shannon “Alex” Schechter.

The newly constructed ceremony venue adds 800 square-feet of space to the existing chapel, and can host up to 24 guests.

Marino has been headlining on the Las Vegas Strip and performing over 25,000 shows to over 10 million people. He has received many accolades as Las Vegas’ Mayor Goodman proclaimed February 1st, to be “Frank Marino Day.” He also has a street (Frank Marino Drive) named after him.

Schechter is a well respected veteran of the Las Vegas entertainment industry. A graduate of UNLV, Schechter has more than 15 years experience in live entertainment, stage production and marketing. As Vice President Associate Producer for SPI Entertainment, he directs the day-to-day operations of more than six Las Vegas resident shows and three touring productions.
