Las Vegas, NV - Faith Lutheran celebrates its 45th year at this year’s luau-themed Crusader Knight Benefit from 6- 9 p.m. inside the Las Vegas Ballpark in downtown Summerlin. Two-time World Series Champion and Las Vegas resident Shane Victorino returns to the diamond Thursday, Oct. 5, not to play ball, but to be honored along with his wife, Melissa Victorino. Crusader Knight is the only school-wide fundraising event directly impacting the school’s mission of ‘Everyone Prepared! Everyone Saved!’
Proceeds from Crusader Knight support Faith's academic, athletic and fine arts programs, campus expansion needs and other areas crucial to achieving Faith Lutheran’s long term strategic initiatives. Sponsorships and individual tickets are still available and information about ticket packages can be found at the school’s website: www.faithlutheranlv.org.
“Crusader Knight is an annual highlight for Faith Lutheran as our supporters and friends gather together to raise significant funds to help us achieve our mission,” said Dr. Steve Buuck, Faith Lutheran CEO.
This year, Victorino and his wife, Melissa, will be honored with the school’s prestigious Heitkotter Crusader Award. The award honors individuals and families who exemplify their tremendous support and dedication to Faith Lutheran. “The support of faithful donors over the years has truly helped Faith Lutheran become the amazing school that it is.” said Jacquelyn Trumbull, Director of Advancement.
The fun-filled evening begins with Faith’s students incorporating Faith Lutheran student performances specifically tailored to the event. Silent and ‘live’ auctions, the Golden Ticket drawing, Signature Hawaiian Cocktails and the ever-popular ‘Gift Card Pull’ add to the excitement. Highlighting the evening’s entertainment, well-known Hawaiian singer/songwriter, Anuhea will give a special performance.
