Las Vegas, NV – The EmployNV Business Hub of Southern Nevada in partnership with the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) Career Services and Workforce and Economic Development Division is holding a Healthcare Career Fair on Thursday, August 17, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event will happen at the School of Health Sciences, K Building 6375 W. Charleston Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89146.
Dozens of healthcare employers will be available and some will interview and hire on the spot. Registration is encouraged at this link: https://tinyurl.com/yuf7469z. Representatives from
EmployNV and CSN Career Services will be available to provide information about training and career opportunities.
“Healthcare is one of our in-demand industries,” said EmployNV Business Hub of Southern Nevada Manager, Marchele Sneed. “This event is unique because all the employers attending have job openings that align with the programs offered at CSN. This is a great chance for those who are looking for a job in the healthcare field, and for those who want to learn more about these career opportunities.”
On the same day, the College of Southern Nevada will host their First Year Experience (FYE) at the student union. The First Year Experience program provides advice and support to new students.
“We’re thrilled to partner with EmployNV Business Hub and our Career Services Department to give our new and existing students a chance to meet with employers right on our campus,” said Yvonne Jackson, director of First Year Experience at CSN. “We’re very mindful of a student’s entire journey at CSN — from their orientation before the first class starts all the way through job placement help. We want our students to succeed because when they succeed, our entire community succeeds.”
Some of the employers attending will be University Medical Center, Spring Mountain Treatment Center, Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging (SDMI), UNLV Health. Boston Dental Group and The Valley Health System.
Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resumes.
