New Mixed-Use Development Break Ground in the Arts District in Downtown Las Vegas

Three-building apartment community will house 337 rental residences of all sizes

Yesterday, Southern Land Company (SLC) broke ground on a mixed-use development located at 1207 S. 3rd Street in the18b Arts District in Downtown Las Vegas. The project will include three seven-story apartment buildings totaling 531,982 square feet, offering a combined 337 rental residences and 8,500 square feet of ground-level retail and restaurant space. The residential units will include a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom homes, offering between 585 and 1,254 square feet of living space. 

Leasing will begin for the apartments in the second quarter of 2025. Leasing for retail space is anticipated to begin in the third quarter of 2025. The project is anticipated to open in late 2025. KTGY designed the project, and Burke Construction Group, Inc. of Las Vegas serves as general contractor.

SLC also has two other apartment buildings currently under construction - Symphony Park II and Symphony Park III (working titles). The new apartment community in the Arts District will bring the total unit count of SLC’s downtown Las Vegas portfolio to 1,203.

At the ceremonial groundbreaking, SLC presented a donation of $5,000 to the First Friday Foundation.
