Yesterday, Sage Collegiate Public Charter School opened its permanent facility at a grand opening ceremony. The K-8 school, which opened in August with K-5, has moved into a fully renovated Elks Lodge in central Las Vegas on 4100 W Charleston Blvd and will share its space with the community. Work for a second building on its campus has already begun and will open in 2025.

The charter school currently has more than 200 students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Sage Collegiate has a slow growth model and will add another kindergarten and a 6th grade class in the 2023-24 school year. Registration for the school’s lottery is open. At capacity, Sage Collegiate will have 800 students in kindergarten through 8th grade.

“There is a great need for public charter schools in Las Vegas. With most charter schools being located around the perimeter of the city, Sage Collegiate gives students in the central Las Vegas community access to more options for education,” said Jennifer Braster, board chair of Sage Collegiate.
