Nevada Unemployment Rate Was 4.4% in September, Unchanged from July and August 2022

The U.S. seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 3.5% in September 2022.

According to the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation’s (DETR) September 2022 economic report, the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 4.4% in September 2022 which was unchanged from July and August 2022. The U.S. seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 3.5% in September 2022.

The non-seasonally adjusted unemployment rates were 5.3% in the Las Vegas area, 3.1% in Reno, and 3.4% in the Carson area in September 2022.

The Las Vegas MSA's non-seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 5.3% in September 2022, down from 5.7% in August 2022, and down from 6.6% in September 2021.
