Legends Bay Casino Opens, First New Casino in Over 20 Years in Northern Nevada

On August 30th, Legends Bay Casino opened its doors in and became the first new casino in northern Nevada in over 20 years.

On August 30th, Legends Bay Casino opened its doors in and became the first new casino in northern Nevada in over 20 years. The opening celebration began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Garry Goett, Chairman and CEO of Olympia Companies. Special guests included Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak and the Mayor of Sparks, Ed Lawson. The opening day also featured a ribbon cutting celebration of the new Circa Sports Sportsbook with Derek Stevens, CEO of Circa Sports.

The casino floor has over 650 slot and video poker machines, high limit slot room, and 10 live table games, live keno, and Circa Sports Sportsbook.

“It has been a long road to reach this day and we couldn’t be prouder to be opening Legends Bay Casino in this great community. Our team worked incredibly hard, and we look forward to welcoming guests to the newest casino in the region in over 20 years,” notes Garry Goett.

Legends Bay Casino is  developed by Olympia Gaming, the gaming development division of Olympia Companies. Through its affiliated companies, Olympic owns the Casino Fandango, and the Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Carson City and co-owns the Hampton Inn and Suites, and Residence Inn hotel in Sparks.
