James Vance, a local McDonald's owner-operator in Southern Nevada, opened his sixth location this month. At the grand opening, Vance presented a check donation of $10,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas in honor of the new location.
Since opening his first restaurant location in 1995, Vance has created over 400 jobs in the community through his franchisees. The new location is Vance's first location in Henderson and will provide over 80 jobs to the community.
A Las Vegas resident for 19 years, Vance continues to partner with the local community through donations to local charities. Vance also provides a program called Archways to Opportunities that provides free opportunities for McDonald's employees to further their education.
"It's important for me to give back to the community where I live, have raised my kids, and will do business for years to come." said McDonald’s owner-operator, James Vance, "I do that by supporting the Ronald McDonald House Charities and investing in my employees."
The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Greater Las Vegas is to create and support programs that directly improve the health, education, and well-being of children in our community. One hundred percent of the funds raised by RMHC of Greater Las Vegas stay right here in the Southern Nevada community.
