Colliers Las Vegas Takes Top Honors at 2021 SIOR Awards

SIOR, the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, presents Colliers Las Vegas with three of the organization’s annual awards:

  • People’s Choice Broker of the Year
  • Industrial Deal of the Year
  • Office Deal of the Year

Dan Doherty, SIOR, receives the organization’s prestigious People’s Choice Broker of the Year recognition. Serving as Executive Vice President of the Colliers’ industrial division in Las Vegas, Doherty has over 31 years of experience in commercial real estate. He has navigated the brokerage process for many of the region’s largest industrial real estate owners and occupiers. Doherty has held the SIOR designation since 1995 and served as a Regional Vice President for the organization overseeing six chapters in the western region. His 2021 recognition is the sixth time he has received this same accomplishment in his career.

In conjunction with its Broker of the Year recognition, Doherty Industrial Group (DIG) received recognition for the leasing and sale disposition of Matter Logistics Center at West Cheyenne. The project consisted of five buildings totaling 727,925 square feet, with tenants ranging from 11,000 to 180,000 square feet.

DIG consists of Dan Doherty, SIOR, Paul Sweetland, SIOR, Chris Lane, SIOR, CCIM and Jerry Doty, SIOR. The team has been one of the top industrial real estate teams in the industry for over twenty years with market knowledge unsurpassed in Southern Nevada.

Taber Thill, SIOR, Patti Dillon, SIOR, and Megan McInerney received SIOR’s top honor for Office Deal of the Year. The team received recognition for its sale transaction of Tribeca Park; a three (3) building office campus in the Southwest submarket totaling 131,000 square feet that was purchased and rehabilitated by a local real estate investment.  The sale consisted of the final two (2) office buildings in the Southwest submarket, which sold to a prominent local buyer.
