Last week, the City of North Las Vegas and Agora Realty & Management, a real estate development firm, broke ground on Phase One of NLV Gateway, a medical and mixed-use redevelopment project in Downtown North Las Vegas.

Phase One of the project is a 22,000 square foot, $10 million medical services office building that will include primary care and specialities such as radiology. This building is expected to create 100 new jobs, and completion of Phase One is anticipated in Summer 2023.

NLV Gateway will include new restaurants, shops, and a series of micro-business units for startups and entrepreneurs. Agora has been investing in the City of North Las Vegas for the past six years, beginning with the redevelopment of Fiesta Plaza, a 200,000-square-foot shopping center. Agora’s portfolio includes more than 400,000 square feet in the City of North Las Vegas.

“This is the vision of this City Council - to bring much needed services to our residents and community so people don’t have to travel to another city or state for medical care or specialty appointments,” North Las Vegas Mayor John Lee said.

“One of my biggest goals has been to transform our downtown into a walkable community where people live and gather that is rich with shops, services and amenities. This is a major step in making that vision a reality," Ward 1 Councilman Isaac Barron said.
