Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC) hosted a grand opening ceremony on May 3 at its new office location in Las Vegas. Attendees included U.S. Representative Congresswoman Dina Titus, Congressman Steven Horsford, City of Las Vegas Councilwoman Olivia Diaz, and City of North Las Vegas Councilwoman Pamela Goynes-Brown.

The new Las Vegas office will provide training and resources with its programs in education, health and human services, housing and economic development. The location will also serve as the learning center for the organization’s YouthBuild program that helps youth ages 18-24 shape their self-confidence while gaining viable life and vocational skills. In addition, the new office offers HUD-certified housing counseling services and SBA business lending programs.

“At this new office, we're going to grow from here and continue to provide resources for those in need. This is going to be the root of our tree and our branches are going to go throughout the state even more to meet the needs of people from every walk of life," said David Adame, President & CEO of CPLC.
