New ER Facility Breaks Ground at Henderson Hospital

The Henderson Hospital hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for its new emergency department, The ER at Cadence. It will feature six treatment rooms with an additional three rapid medical exam rooms, advanced imaging service such as computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, and X-ray, an on-site laboratory and a decontamination room with showers.

Bojangles Signs Multi-Unit Development Agreement in Las Vegas

Yesterday, Bojangles announced a multi-unit development agreement to bring 20 new restaurants to Las Vegas and add 10 new restaurants at TravelCenters of America franchise locations across Western markets. The expansion will be led by TravelCenters of America franchisee, LVP Restaurant Group, LLC, an entity of LV Petroleum, and its investment partner, Kingsbarn Realty Capital as the developer.

Nevada State Treasurer’s Office Announces College Savings Accounts in Partnership with J.P. Morgan Asset Management

Today, the Nevada State Treasurer’s Office announced a partnership with J.P. Morgan Asset Management on Future Path 529 Plans. Nevada’s 529 plans are college savings accounts that allow parents to invest in their child’s future education. Funds invested in 529 accounts grow on a tax-deferred basis and distributions from the plan are not taxed as long as they are used for qualified educational expenses.

SNWA Launches New Tree Enhancement Rebate Program

To improve resiliency to extreme heat, the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) established a new tree-planting initiative as part of the Water Smart Landscapes rebate program. Participants can receive a bonus of $100 for every new tree installed (up to 100% canopy coverage).
