YESCO Moves New Exhibit "Lighting Up Las Vegas" To East Las Vegas Library Beginning Sept. 15

YESCO will move its new exhibition “Lighting Up Las Vegas: YESCO Marks a Glittering Century” to East Las Vegas Library from September 15th to November 20th. It opens Monday through Thursday from 10am to 8pm and Friday through Sunday from 10am to 6pm. The exhibition is current on display at the Clark County Museum through August 29th.

This exhibition is sourced from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority News Bureau’s extensive archive collection and from UNLV’s Special Collections. This joint exhibition, organized with the support of the LVCVA’s Las Vegas News Bureau and The Neon Museum, examines the history and impact of YESCO in Las Vegas.

YESCO is a 102-year-old company known for creating recognizable signs on casino hotels in Las Vegas. From its early use of neon on Fremont Street in the 1930s, to the Strip “spectaculars” of the 1950s and 1960s, to the cutting-edge technologies of today, YESCO has shaped the image of Las Vegas.
